We've Never Met a Body We Couldn't Work With

At Innervate, we treat everyone as an individual. You’re beautifully and gorgeously unique, with different bone structures, joint compositions, fitness histories and goals that matter to you and you alone. Adopting a cookie-cutter approach to your training would be lazy at best and dangerous at worst.

We don’t do that here.

Our Evolution

Innervate was founded in 2006 as a personal training service. Over the years we grew, contracted, adapted, evolved. We've trained in parks, in commercial gyms, in clients' homes. In 2015 we opened our first dedicated studio in Coogee - Coogee Gym by Innervate.

Now we're in Randwick, purpose built space, same philosophy.
The location changed. The name simplified. The commitment to individualised, intelligent training never wavered.

Busy professionals who sit all day and need their bodies to work better. People returning to exercise after injury or time away. Former athletes who miss feeling strong. Anyone tired of generic programs that ignore their specific needs. People who’ve tried the big box gyms and left feeling invisible.

One thing they all share: they refuse to accept cookie-cutter fitness.

We’re not going to promise you’ll transform in 12 weeks. Some people do. Others take longer. Bodies don’t read marketing timelines.

What we will promise: if you show up, engage with the process, and work with us honestly about what’s actually happening in your life, you will get stronger. You will move better. You will develop new habits. The rest follows.

We measure success by how you feel jumping out of bed, whether your back pain disappeared, if you’re keeping up with your kids without getting winded, whether you finally did that thing you thought you couldn’t.

The mirror and the scale? They’re data points. Not the whole story.

Not dress sizes. Not scale numbers. Not how you look in a photo compared to someone else’s body.

We care about:

  • Whether you’re moving pain-free through your day
  • Whether you have energy for the things and people you love
  • Whether you’re getting stronger, sleeping better, feeling more capable
  • Whether you’re building habits that will serve you for decades

The aesthetic stuff? That often follows. But it’s a byproduct of health, not a substitute for it.

When you start with us, we’re not just programming workouts. We’re looking at the whole picture: movement patterns, lifestyle factors, stress levels, sleep quality, nutrition habits. We’re asking what else is going on in your life that might impact your training.

Then we build a plan. Not my plan for youβ€”our plan together.

You’ll get specific, tailored exercise prescription. You’ll get support around nutrition (general guidance, not meal plansβ€”we’re trainers, not dietitians). You’ll get accountability. And you’ll get called out when your sneaky inner saboteur tries to derail you.

But here’s the critical part: we cannot do it for you.

No amount of expert programming, dietary information, or motivational talks will create lasting change unless you decide to engage. There are no shortcuts. We’ve got your back, but the work is yours.

No crowds to navigate, no waiting for equipment. It’s a space designed for one purpose: intelligent training with undivided attention from your coach.

We don’t do contracts. We don’t do crowds. We don’t do the franchise gym experience where you’re another number in a system designed for volume over value.
