Back Pain & Injury Rehab
You don’t have to keep living with back pain.
Innervate Health & Fitness is home to Australia’s first personal trainer certified McGill Method practitioner. If you’ve been dealing with chronic back pain, sciatica, or a disc injury, we can help you understand what’s actually going on and build a program that gets you moving well again.
There is a better way
A lot of people with back pain are told to rest, avoid certain movements, or given a handful of generic stretches. For many, that approach doesn’t work and over time, things don’t improve and the pain becomes the new normal.
At Innervate, we take a different approach. We start by understanding your body, what triggers your pain, how you move, and what your specific injury actually means for your training. From there, we build a program around you.
No templates. No guesswork. No one-size-fits-all prescriptions.
What is the McGill Method?
The McGill Method was developed by Professor Stuart McGill, one of the world’s leading spine biomechanists. It’s a proven assessment and rehabilitation framework that identifies the root cause of your back pain and uses precise, progressive movement to address it.
Lisa Brown was the first personal trainer in Australasia to become certified in the McGill Method. That means she has the knowledge and tools to work with you in a way that most trainers, and even many physios, simply cannot.
